"20 Strong Tanglewood" is a single-player board game system with a fairy tale theme, where you, as a hero with unique abilities, fight against obstacles and enemies represented by a deck of cards. It is part of Chip Theory Games' "20 Strong" system, and the "Tanglewood" set is the first of the three "Tanglewood" expansions. 

Game principle: The player is a hero with unique abilities and must overcome various challenges in the magical world of "Tanglewoods" with the help of 20 dice.

Setting: A fairy tale world where fairy tale characters navigate a changing forest to fight against enemies.

Core components: The set includes the basic rules for the game system, 20 special "Tanglewood" dice, a "Red Deck" card deck and a magnetic chip tracker.

Expandability: The game system can be expanded with other card decks that offer their own unique mechanics and challenges.

Journey into the Tanglewoods is the second crowdfunding campaign for the 20 Strong game system, focusing on the new Tanglewoods trilogy. Inspired by 20 Strong, acclaimed designer and artist Manny Trembley collaborated with Chip Theory to create a world where fairy tale characters navigate an ever-changing forest, battling and bribing enemies to confront their ultimate nemesis. The game features flippable cards that reveal different gameplay elements depending on which side is faceup. The campaign introduces a new core box, containing everything needed to play, including the base rules, 20 dice, a magnetic chip tracker, and the Tanglewoods Red deck, all packaged with red foil accents. Players will navigate the forest, avoid the Big Bad Wolf's pack, and face the woodland's treacherous denizens on their way to grandmother's house. After mastering the Tanglewoods Red deck, players can explore other 20 Strong decks for fresh adventures.
