In Block and Key, adventurers place 3D blocks in a central, elevated play area with the goal of completing their own request cards. The challenge is made more interesting by each player being limited to their "2D" viewpoint.
Each turn, adventurers can either draw new blocks from the supply or place ONE block onto the shared field. They can then check if they have already fulfilled a request card before refilling their hand.
The first adventurer to complete the required number of request cards ends the game. The points are tallied, and one player is declared the winner.
