Join us in the world of Dragon Dale. Four different factions meet on a mystical island, whose fate is determined by giant magic-shrouded trees. Each has a different goal, somehow related to these trees. But no matter what they plan: a powerful mystical dragon protects the trees at all costs.

Dragon Dale is a game where your units feel alive. Because each unit roughly pursues your goals, but doesn't always do exactly what you want it to do at that moment. To reach your goal, you have to connect and use very different elements through interaction with other players. In every action, you therefore have to deal with your situation and your fellow players. Plan with the peculiarities of the landscape, which can impose its will on you, and use the power of the rune stones scattered within it as a decisive factor.
The game is very thematic in its own way and creates stories from the players' own actions.

2-4 tribes face off in Peter Kuhn's innovative game Dragon Dale. Each tribe plays differently and has its own goals that drive it deep into the eponymous Wildland and thus into the clutches of the wild spirit dragon that lives there.

The biggest special feature of this highly thematic game is that not only does the dragon feel alive and react to your actions, but your own units also have a life of their own and want to achieve their own goals!

Immerse yourself in an atmospheric and strange world where all units lead their own innovative lives! Four tribes pursue their own unique goals on a mysterious island full of magic: The Vikings are stranded, their ships broken. They need wood to repair them. But almost all the trees are shrivelled – only a few are left. They set out to fell them and transport the wood back to their ships with their loyal oxen. The Celts have lived here all their lives, but always on the edge of the island. Now a winter is approaching that seems to be worse than ever. So their queen has decided that they must fell one of the magic trees and float the wood back along the rivers to their home. The Druids were part of the Celtic tribe, but when their arch-druid heard of the queen's plans, he swore to defend the trees. Now the Druids want to bless the trees to protect them from harm. The others didn't know that the Dark Fairy Maeve was behind most of their problems. She conjured the fog that brought the Vikings too close to the jagged rocks near the coast, she brought howling winds that foretold the coming cold, and she whispered discontent into the ears of the Druids. All to gain her own freedom, for the trees are her prison and to become free, she must poison them! All these tribes stand in each other's way. But there's another problem: a spirit dragon lives in the magic trees. And it wants no one to touch the trees. It is even suspicious of the Druid blessing the trees! Living units: Each unit has a "stance" that determines how it will behave when it encounters other units. They may want to fight, but they may also want to retreat or make peace with the others. You know what your units will do, but you can only change it after they've had an encounter. So you have to plan your units' behaviour instead of making them do what you want! The dragon moves around the island, guarding the trees. There's a pattern to its movement, but you'll never predict it unless you find a way to influence its movement. The dragon also judges your tribe's behaviour. When your units act, it may become angrier or calmer. This determines the passion with which it purposefully pursues your units, and it changes the behaviour with which it approaches encounters with your units. Living world: The different areas of the map have unique effects that hinder your movement or entice you to another location. Movement is a puzzle in itself! Readable asymmetry: Although the tribes' playstyles and goals are different, they all concern the magical dragon trees. This way, it's easy for everyone to immediately see and understand how far each is from victory, without understanding the nuances of their game. Plus, you don't have to teach 4 different games. Everyone has the same basic mechanics. The asymmetry comes from a wealth of unique unit abilities and special actions. A map for every number of players: The island is different for each number of players. Not only does the number of spaces shrink, but the areas are even different. This means the game is ripe for exciting duels between two tribes. And with three players, the odd player doesn't win because the other two just fought each other. Introduction cards: Each tribe has a special one-time introduction card that only players playing their first game of Dragon Dale can use. This serves as a kind of tutorial for your first game and makes it so that you can even hold your own against a more experienced player.
