How about your own botanical garden? As an aristocrat of the late 19th century, you have bought land, hired a gardener, and set out to find the best plants. As you know, visitors are very particular about the plants they want to see. So your task is not only to acquire the plants but also to arrange them according to the visitors' preferences. In Botanicus, you compete for the best action spots in a unique selection mechanism and then use the opportunities available to you. You have to collect new plants, cultivate them, water them, and keep an eye on the gardener. Last but not least, you have to collect some money along the way to pay for all this. Ultimately, all that matters is how many visitors you satisfy and how beautiful your garden is. How about creating your own botanical garden? As an artist in the late 19th century, you bought land, first hired a gardener, and set out to find the most beautiful plants ever. However, visitors have very specific ideas about which plants they want to admire in your garden. It's not enough to plant them somehow ⁇ no, you also have to arrange the plants in such a way that passing visitors see what they want. In Botanicus, you compete with your fellow players for the best yield for your garden using a new action mechanism. You also want to get the right plants and water them at the right time, take care of your gardener, and of course, you shouldn't neglect your finances! In the end, what matters is how many onlookers are satisfied with their visit and how beautiful your garden is. Can you overshadow the gardens of your competitors?
