CloudAge is the new strategy game by Alexander Pfister. The successful author has created a dark world for 1 to 4 players.

The lawless group "Cloud" sabotaged numerous oil facilities in a globally coordinated strike. The result was an environmental catastrophe with devastating consequences for the entire planet. Fifteen years after this inferno, you fly in your airships over dried-up lands. In search of a better life, you travel to cities, send out drones to collect resources, and fight against the Cloud militias.
 
The innovative sleeve mechanism enables a new, immersive form of resource acquisition. You try to estimate in which cloud-covered area a desired amount of resources can be found and where additional actions are possible. With the help of resources, you develop useful upgrades for your airship or hire new crew members.
 
CloudAge is a composition of engine-building, deck-building, and resource management. The campaign system offers a quick introduction to the game. Additional game elements are integrated as the chapters progress. You actively experience and control the story. Alternatively to the campaign, you can play independent spin-offs of the story as scenarios.
