In the 15th century, the Portuguese Prince Henry the Navigator (Henrique o Navegador) gathered the best cartographers and sailors of his country to explore the coast of Africa. The experience gained in navigation and shipbuilding ushered in the Age of Discovery and ultimately enabled a sea route to India and China.

As enterprising trading dynasties, players participate in the establishment of the global Portuguese colonial empire. By founding colonies and building trading posts, players create the necessary economic basis for their voyages of discovery. In the competition for new discoveries, colonies, favorable shipyards and churches, it is important to closely observe the actions of the other players.
