In Artengarten, you will plan and design a modern, scientifically managed zoo for animals and visitors. 135 unique zoo tiles offer you animals, buildings, and projects. In each game, you will want to find the best mix of those available to build the most successful zoological facility. Various effects on the tiles help you achieve conservation goals and increase the attractiveness of your zoo. Each player has a set of four action cards to manage their gameplay, and the power of an action is determined by the slot the card currently occupies. With one of these cards, you can play projects, and with the other three cards, you can play animals from a specific habitat: forest, rock, or water. Sanctuary is based on its predecessor Ark Nova but modifies and simplifies many of that game's mechanisms in elegant and surprising ways. The goal of finding the best ways to combine animals, buildings, and projects on the zoo map is a constant delight!
