Boss Fighters QR combines the classic elements of a card game with an app for a unique gaming experience. Players team up against ten unique bosses with individual strengths and abilities who tactically react to the players' actions. Thanks to the Scan & Play mechanic, the app reads physical cards via a QR code on the back in seconds and reacts to moves in real-time – for seamless interaction between strategic deckbuilding and dynamic boss battles.

At the start of the campaign, players each choose a hero deck – Troll, Halfling, Dwarf, or Elf – and freely combine it with one of four available classes: Warrior, Mage, Rogue, or Druid. The app then guides the group through the game and from boss to boss. With each boss, players face a new challenge, as each boss has their own tactics and attacks that the hero group must discover and then combat. If the group is successful, they receive loot cards hidden in three secret loot boxes. With these, they can improve their decks, unlock new abilities, and replace old cards.

Each boss in Boss Fighters QR can be played on four different difficulty levels – from "Novices (for families)" to "Insane (for experts)."
