In the Heart of Nature - A tile-laying game for the whole family in the Pacific Northwest!

Welcome to Cascadia! Here, in the American Northwest, animals thrive: buzzards circle in the skies, bears appear in pairs, deer migrate, and foxes roam. And, of course, salmon cannot be absent. They traverse vast landscapes on their river migrations.

In Cascadia, you create habitats for the wildlife of the eponymous region.

To do this, you select wilderness tiles, which you attach to your landscape and on which you settle your animals. While bears like to be close together, buzzards prefer their own territory. It's not so easy when a salmon run stretches across the entire landscape.

In each game, five scoring cards are laid out, one card for each of the five animal species. They show in which patterns you must settle the animals to achieve as many points as possible.

Bonus points are awarded for the largest contiguous areas in each landscape type.

Whoever creates the richest ecosystem with planning and a little luck and places the different animals most cleverly has the best chance of winning!

A varied family game and suitable gift for fans of tile-laying games as well as nature lovers - also playable alone with a solo game variant.
