In Fantastic Realms, players try to create the most powerful kingdom with their hand of 7 cards. Your goal is, as the ruler of a distant land, to build the most powerful empire in the world. Perhaps they will build a mighty army to destroy everything, but that is not the only way to victory. The kingdom might take the form of an erupting volcano or a terrible hurricane sweeping away everything in its path. Perhaps the player will control a great wizard in their fortress, located remotely on an inaccessible island and surrounded by impenetrable flames. Players have a choice, because no two realms are alike.

Fantastic Realms is easy to learn (in one turn, a player only takes one card and discards one), but offers almost infinite possibilities for combinations with 53 different cards. It stands out from other card games due to an unspent basic idea. It's not about collecting tricks or discarding cards as quickly as possible. Instead, you try to optimize your hand of cards over several rounds. The whole thing is extremely entertaining, and you also have to keep an eye on the potentially rapidly approaching end of the game.
