In ALLEGRA Grande, based on the traditional card game ⁇ Golf ⁇ , you want to keep the score in your display as low as possible. The deck consists of cards numbered from -2 to 13. In each round, each player starts with 16 unknown cards, face down. The cards are placed in a 4x4 grid. Before the game begins, each player randomly turns over two cards. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game. In each round, we draw 2 cards (either both from the draw pile or both from the discard pile, or one from the discard pile and one from the draw pile; here, the specified order is mandatory ⁇ first from the discard pile then from the draw pile) and play them one after another. But if a player has only one open card left on the display, they can only draw one card. We want to reduce the score on the display and/or clear rows or columns.

In ALLEGRA Grande, with its 4x4 (or even 4x5 with 2 players) display, you can clear 4 (or even 5) of the same cards in a row or column. Here you have to be careful how you place the cards, because you must immediately clear a row of three cards as soon as they are next to each other in a row or column - even if you wanted to collect four cards and clear them later. To clear four cards, there must first be a gap between them, for example: ⁇ 3, 4, 3, 3 ⁇ . As soon as the 4 in this row is replaced by another 3, all four threes can (must) be cleared immediately. With 5 cards it could look like this: ⁇ 3, 3, 4, 3, 3 ⁇ . Here it is the same; as soon as the 4 in this row is replaced by another 3, the entire row can (must) be cleared. This allows for chain reactions (as seen in the pictures). It is possible to clear all 16 cards through a chain reaction, but trying to do so is risky. We have 3 action cards. The cards can be used as normal cards with their value or activated to use their ability. Activation only works if the action card is drawn from the draw pile and immediately discarded to the discard pile in the same round. (No activation if drawn from the discard pile or opened in the display!). After the action, you must open a closed card from the display; it could be any closed card.

The -2: It is the lowest card, and it is only in the deck 4 times. With the -2, you can secretly look at all closed cards in a row or column. Obviously, the next player can now draw this -2 from the discard pile, and they probably will. The 5: It is the most common card; it is played 16 times in the stack. Here you can secretly look at a closed card. The 13 is a bit more special than the others. It is the highest card and 10 times in the deck. The action consists of removing an open card from the display and replacing it with a card from the draw pile, and this card must remain closed. After this action, no more closed cards may be opened. This is the only way to close another card. For example, at the end of the game, if a player has only one closed card left and is only allowed to draw one card, for this reason, they can get another closed card back with the 13 and are allowed to draw 2 cards again. Joker: This card simply stands for any card, but not for its actions. If the Joker is next to two identical cards, it immediately mimics them, and you must clear this set. For example ⁇ 6, J, 6, 1 ⁇ the Joker mimics the sixes next to it and you must clear the three cards. Be careful where you place the Joker. The Swap: Swap 2 cards in your display: Instead of drawing two cards, you can also swap two cards in your own display. After that, you must open a closed card. Do it before it's too late. The swap is also perfect for swapping the Joker to the perfect spot. Sometimes you have to do the so-called "evading". This allows you to replace a card twice in the same spot on the display. This also allows you to "defuse" the action of an action card (especially the 13) if you first place the action card on the display and then replace the action card again with the other card. This means that you are indirectly allowed to discard an action card and of course it only works as long as you can draw two cards.

Unlike the first "ALLEGRA", we only play in our own display (no column belonging to a neighbor, and no knocking to swap a card with a player).
