In the future – so far in the future that wind turbines run like clockwork in the Antarctic climate due to either global warming or technological progress – rising sea levels and the need for natural resources are leading to an increasing interest in Antarctica. The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research is facing an increasingly creative interpretation of the Antarctic Treaty.

Your goal is to establish research centers in Antarctica and extract resources... purely for scientific purposes, of course. The sun rotates counter-clockwise around Antarctica, always freeing up one ship and allowing its owner to make a move. At the end of the game, you get victory points for majorities in areas, research, prestige buildings, and resources. Will your team have the most... made the biggest contribution to saving humanity?

Whenever it's one of your ships' turns, you can construct new buildings, hire scientists, build a new ship, or advance scientific progress. You must keep an eye on both your own possibilities and those of other players. The game ends when there is nothing left to build or when a player has placed their last scientist.
